Homemade ice cream, huge bird sculptures and peppermint oil.
That’s what I call a perfect Sunday. My honorary Aunt was in town for the
weekend, so my family took her on a mini-tour of Little Rock. We took her
downtown, through the Argenta district and past the Clinton Presidential
library. We also stopped in a few shops along the way (where I grabbed some
jewelry, because you can never have enough!)
One of my favorite places to go in Little Rock is the Green Corner Store. They have all kinds of natural and organic products like essential oils, lavender soap, fresh flowers and Arkansas-themed clothing and
jewelry. They also serve Loblolly ice cream which is hands down the best ice
cream I've ever had. I got a scoop of double vanilla but they also serve
flavors like salted caramel and a strawberry ice cream made with ghost peppers
(!!!) I picked up some peppermint oil while I was there (good for headaches)
and a gorgeous ring that was picked up from an estate sale.
This weekend was amazing. I love supporting local businesses
and exploring different parts of my city. Supporting local businesses is so important. They help individual people, your friends and neighbors, accomplish their goals and dreams.

What about you? What local places do you frequent?
Let me
know so I can add them to my ‘must visit’ list!’
Happy Monday!
